Why Therapy?

There are times in our lives that we find it difficult to cope due to events that affect us emotionally.

Talking through difficulties and other disturbing issues in confidence with a skilled, non-judgemental listener, allows us to reconnect with our feelings and make sense of our experiences.

Psychotherapy involves exploring our feelings while challenging our thinking and may help us discover the wider context of how we deal with our lives.

Engaging in this process allows us to take responsibility for ourselves, understand our difficulties and develop our ability to deal with them, make choices that can bring change to our lives.

My commitment as an experienced counsellor and psychotherapist is to support you in this process in a respectful, compassionate and thoughtful way, at your pace.
